The Ponsonby Baptist Church complex in Auckland includes a Classical church and Gothic-style Sunday School Hall. The original Sunday school building dates from 1876.
DPA Architects were commissioned to create a new link and front canopy between the church and the former Sunday School Hall, improving the flow of the complex. The new link was of a contemporary nature to differentiate it from the historic buildings.
